Odd thing is, when I attach the modem to the phone jack (I've tried every jack in the house, and multiple cords), ALL of my phones will not get a dialtone, including the modem. This happens to every phone connection regardless of whether the modem is connected via serial cable or not, and whether it is powered on or not, just the phone jack connected. No dialtone with no other phones, etc. plugged in anywhere in the house as well. Modem diagnostics run fine however. Could this be some weird firmware problem due to it being for European use, or just I just recieve a fried modem? Any input would be appreciated. |

Aloha! Richard. |
